Mean Girls/ contracts

Landing in NYC on 20th March and wondering what our chances are of the majority of the original cast of MEAN GIRLS still being around - if they have one year contracts is it a year from their first preview (12th March) or opening night (8th April)?

It really depends. Sometimes it's even one year after the first rehearsal.

It really can't be predicted. Some cast members will leave, some will stay. I read somewhere (cannot remember where otherwise I'd link it) that Taylor Louderman is probably leaving in January. That's all I have heard.

Contracts start on the first day of previews, not opening night.

I would be shocked if their contracts aren’t through mid-March, on a Sunday.

Wondering if anyone has heard anything about any possible cast extensions?

Barrett said in Oct 2018 on the talkin sh*t with jimmy schartz podcast (at 18:55 timestamp) that her contract is until April "and then we shall see but I'm loving it right now .. I could definitely see myself staying for longer but we just gotta see how the cookie crumbles"
