I was just wondering if anyone has seen her and what you guys thought. She went on April 10 for Celia and I thought she was wonderful.

I heard somewhere else that she played Eponine as shy. Is that true?
no i think celia plays eponine shyer than megan mcginnis although i think celia is better
The McGinnis is amazing - I would LOVE to see her Eponine.
I saw Megan as Eponine on March 23rd. Is she taking over the role for Celia, just curious as to why Megan has been on so often. Forgive me if I missed a posting regarding Celia not being in Les Mis, I was away on vacation just got back. Does anyone know if Celia is coming back or is Megan the Eponine moving forward. I liked Megan I thought she did a good job she looked a little nervous sometimes especially when she did her solo, but overall she was good.

Sorry, Megan is not taking over the role of Eponine. The name of the actress who is taking over the role of Eponine is Mandy Bruno. Here is a link to the press release/article about the cast change.
Les Mis cast changes
This past summer I saw Mandy Bruno as 'Belle' in the Pittsburgh CLO's production of "Beauty and the Beast." She was fantastic
. I hope she does well.

I wish Megan would take over the role. Personally I think she's too good for ensemble. I hope she gets a great role in a new show soon.
I actually wasn't a HUGE fan of Megan McGinnis as Eponine. I saw her a while ago, on March 11th... Anyway, I thought she was way too shy for the role of Eponine. Basically, she acted like Cosette in a ragged dress. It was an interesting take on the role, because it posed the interesting question of did Marius chose Cosette based solely on social class, but definitely not the best take on the role. She has a wonderful voice though. However, even her voice was more of a soprano than Eponine should be. I actually think she would be much better at the role of Cosette than Eponine.
I kind of wondered about that too istillbelieve, although I loved her in the role, I think her voice lends itself more towards Cosette. Does anyone know why she only covers Eponine? Also out of curiousity has anyone here seen Marissa McGowan on as Eponine, she went on as Cosette and did a great job.
I saw McGinnis as Eponine and loved her! It was my first time seeing the show. My friends saw McGowan go on for Eponine two days earlier and said she's the best Eponine they've seen and it was their fourth or fifth different cast they'd seen. One of the alums from my school just started his run as the foreman and ensemble u/s Javert. Very excited for his first B'way show!
Cheers,
Christopher
Colle, Thanks for the link. Now everything is starting to make sense, I did not know about the cast changes and kept wondering why Celia was not at the show the last couple times we went. I wonder why they did not give the role of Enjolras to Drew?
I saw Drew cover for Aaron a couple times and thought he was great in that role. Too bad they did not give it to him.

Saw her 3/24 and was not particularly a fan. Her singing was quite good but I agree with what was said here before, her acting was a little weak and she did indeed play Eponine as a shy girl.
Also someone asked about Marissa McGowan...I've not seen her personally but have several friends who have and they said she was absolutely wonderful
"Also out of curiousity has anyone here seen Marissa McGowan on as Eponine, she went on as Cosette and did a great job."
I saw Marissa as Eponine Saturday afternoon. I went with a huge group, and at first we were kind of disappointed because we were hoping to see Celia, but after we saw and heard her, we forgot all about Celia. She did a fantastic job and literally everyone who went with us loved her.

^ That's just plain rude. I didn't particulary think that Megan's performance was amazing either, but thatw as just rude.
Please, stay out and don't ever come back if you're gonna be rude like that.
