Does anyone know anything about this show? I'd especially like to know what the score is like.

Anyone have the demo recording? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've just listened to demos of other Alan Menken's lesser know musicals (like Kicks and The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz) and I'd love to hear what The Dream on Royal Street is like.

I'd like to hear/read PERSONALS, too, by Menken et al.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

CapnHook-
There is an actual CD for "Personals." I see it at B&N all the time, and never buy it.
