Thank you for these treats, joey! How I wish I'd had them when I was lecturing on musical theater and trying to explain that "No, Ethel Merman wasn't "over-singing", she was singing without a body mike!"

I'll tell you what I love- how the tempo SLOWS for her final three "Everything's coming up Roses"- they've never done that in any production that I ever heard and it works beautifully.

I agree. That really works.
