Merrily we roll along audition?

I'm struggling to find a song for the audition. I'm going for the role of Frank. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Sondheim song. Any ideas? Thanks!

"Funny" from CITY OF ANGELS might be a good choice, at least psychologically.   Stine and Frank have much in common.  Entertainment industry creatives, pop culture players, marital challenges, midlife crises, selling out versus remaining authentic, dealing with the Hollywood machine, professional partner antagonism (Frank's partners are real people; Stine's are both real and his own literary creations).  And Colman (especially with Zippel) is not light years away from Sondheim; far from it.   

And it's a great song.  As is Stine's "Double Talk" which might also be worth considering.

Not sure about the ranges, but apart from that, easy to see casting someone right for Frank as Stine, and vice versa.
