A thrilling production, marred by two patrons who "second-acted" the seats in Row C, and proceeded to openly record video of the finale on their phones! For curtain calls, they were holding their phone high up in the air and it was nearly impossible to get a view of the singers. This is in the front of the orchestra! Is this a thing at the Met now? Aside from this, the singers were terrific, and Karita Mattila as the mother superior deserves a Tony, if that were possible.
