Metamorphoses?

Metamorphoses?

My nearby high school (public, non-performing arts) is doing this play/musical (I don't even know which) right now, and I was wondering if anyone has information about this play.

All I know is that there is a pool of water on stage... What is this play about?

Unless its a totally different "Metamorphosis", its a play about a guy who turns into a big bug.

This is not the Kafka Metamorphosis, its based on Mythology. I saw it a year or so ago, I have to find the Playbill tomorrow when I am sober

It had the pool on the stage. It was such a beautiful production ( i think it was a British company) that I was crying at the end and I usually do not do that.

I believe you're talking about Metamorphoses and not Metamorphosis?

Hey COOOOLkid,
Are you talking about the play Metamorphoses? And are talking about the school Packer in Brooklyn Heights (I go there and we are doing it right now)? It is written by Ovid and modernized by,Mary Zimmerman. It is about different Greek Myths and the pool on stage uses water for transformation and change. It is a very good production for highschool, I don't know if you are talking about Packer, but if you are then come see it.

Oh, and yes, I remember seeing the name, Mary Zimmerman.
