I had a blast in SLC! It was the very first time for seeing Michael Ball in concert, and I was not disappointed!! He had to have been overwhelmed by his warm reception!

I thought, perhaps, there could be a place where I could read about Michael Ball without having to mop up the drool coming out of my monitor. Can any of his fans discuss the man objectively? Do any of his fans have an IQ over 50?

IQ !!!! I'm really pleased everyone had a great time in SLC last weekend and I've enjoyed reading all your accounts.There have obviously been some friendships formed by people on this board who were all at the show so I don't think there is any need to be that dismissive,it's only natural people will acknowledge each other on here to.

Sorry, I'm not reading anything that resembles "drool." What I'm reading are thoughts of people who have finally gotten the chance to see their favorite performer live on stage in their part of the world. Can't really blame them for a little excitement.

I am a big Michael Ball fan and yes thank you I do have an IQ of over 50. 186 to be exact!

I wasn't able to go to Salt Lake City so it is very nice to read people's thoughts on the concert.

The newspaper reviews were written by reporters who had never heard of him before and you can't get any more 'objective' than that. The reviews were brilliant and full of praise so perhaps Michael's fans are quite justified in the opinions written on here.

Damn. An IQ of 186? That's higher than Copernicus, Descartes, Einstein, and Spinoza. And on par with Shakespeare, Goethe, and Newton.

Me thinks someone hath overshot on the exaggeration just a tad.

No exaggeration - MENSA tested. My point was directed at those who think all Michael Ball fans are of low intelligence. Most of us are not, and are very capable of being 'objective'.

For all we know Einstein, Copernicus, Descartes etc. may well have appreciated Michael's talent too if they were alive today!
