Michael Caine as Georges La Cage aux Folles?

I was just watching Miss Congeniality with Michael Caine. Do you think he could play Georges? I am not sure of his singing ability and don't know if he's had any experience on the Broadway stage (didn't find him on IBDB).

He looks like he could play the part. id pay to see him, hes great in everything

If he can sing, then I'm sure he'd be great. But I think he would want his Broadway debut to be in something a little heavier. Something that he would be the star vehicle and would be carrying the show.

He sang a little in The Muppet Christmas Carol (I think I'm thinking of the same guy... if not, I appologize, its late lol).

Yes, I thought so. He sang a few lines in the song with his girlfriend, and I think a song at the end. Nothing too special, if memory serves me correctly
