The trailer just premiered for the Michael Mayer/Stephen Karam film adaptation of The Seagull

The film stars Saoirse Ronan, Annette Bening, Elizabeth Moss, and Brian Dennehy, among others. The film is scheduled to be released May 11. 

I think the film looks really exciting! I have been waiting for its release since it was shot in the summer of 2015. The fact that it's taken this long to get a trailer and release date made me really nervous, but the trailer has me excited. I am particularly excited to see Saoirse Ronan's Nina. I know a lot of people on this board had problems with Karam's adaptation of The Cherry Orchard, but is anyone else here looking forward to this film?

I'm looking forward to this movie, but this is one of the worst trailers I've ever seen. It looks like in a real movie when a character goes to the movies and sees a fake trailer for a sappy rom-com
