I saw Beauty and the Beast this past Wednesday. I am too lazy to write a review now, but will write one as soon as I get out of my lazy stage. I absolutely love this show. Even though some people say that it lost some of its charm when it transferred from the Palace to the Lunt-Fontanne, I still enjoyed the lavish sets and special effects.
I also sat in the rear mezz...the Lunt-Fontanne is a small theater, so although you might not see the facial expressions of the actors well from the rear, you see the whole picture and are able enjoy the beauty of this show. Although I would've loved orchestra seats, the rear mezz is a pretty good deal...if you are low on cash but want to see this show, try to get rear mezz seats.
P.S. I also saw John Tartaglia! What a treat to see him on stage...more details later!

D2: If you didn't want an update, no one told you to click here. I guess sometimes people forget that. But, whatever...you only have been here a month.
Now back to the actual subject of the thread:
Anyways, Deborah Lew was phenomenal as Belle. I saw Brooke Tansley about 2 years ago in the role, and I must say, I liked Lew's take on the role better. Another thing though, and this is really really not important, haha, but I thought the wig towards the end of the show (when she's in the huge gown and with the Beast) looked a little weird on her. I had binoculars...maybe if I sat closer I would've seen better.

I would like to hear what you thought of the show. I know this isn't a popular sentiment, but I really love this show. I'm a fan of Steve Blanchard too ( I know, another highly unpopular opinion...)I've heard that John T. is great. What did you think?
