I DOUBT it, but it's worth a shot! :)
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

re: Mini-quiz for fun # 2. Who...?

Well, that lyric is in Till the Clouds Roll By movie
Cos till the clouds roll by is a movie about the life of Jerome Kern. And the first 20 minutes is basically showboat

re: Mini-quiz for fun # 2. Who...?

Jasonf is right: "Cancel all next season" is a lyric is from "Life Upon The Wicked Stage" from Showboat. But as astonishing1985 pointed out, Till The Clouds Roll By, based upon composer Jerome Kern's life, opens with a long Showboat sequence that also features the song.
