So, tonight was Jamie McGonnigal's annual holiday benefit. This year it was benefiting the 13th Street LGTB Community Center, so that's awesome. Stanley Bahorek, Matt Cavenaugh, Sara Chase, Amy Connolly, Luther Creek, Max Von Essen, Jonathan Reid-Gealt, Capathia Jenkins, Bill McKinley, Julia Murney, Randy Redd, and Robb Sapp all performed. Unfortunately Anthony Rapp was not in attendance, but that didn't put a damper on the night for one second.
The performances were all fantastic, with a special mention of the ending performance, a duet between Max Von Essen and Julia Murney, a special arrangement of 'O Holy Night,' which was BEAUTIFUL.
I'm not much at reviewing benefits like this, but it was a good time, as always! My pictures are up here (as always):

Enjoy!
EDIT: Here's my sad attempt at a review, I don't remember song titles and such very well, so excuse me on that.
Max Von Essen performed first. I kind of love him, a lot. Then Sara Chase performed, followed by Matt Cavenaugh. Jonathan Reid-Gealt, a new composer, performed one of his songs. He's all kinds of fabulous. Julia came out with a martini glass and performed a really funny song about the 12 days after christmas when she broke up with her ex. PRICELESS. Robb Sapp and Amy Connolly performed a duet together. Bill McKinley performed a Disney song, because he's done voices for Disney movies, but I didn't care for his voice so much. Luther Creek performed "A Very Tranny Christmas," Stanley Bahorek came out and helped Jamie with a sing-a-long in which one third of the audience sang Rudolph, another sang Holly Joly Christmas, and the last sang Frosty the Snowman. Stanley is SO cute. Capathia Jenkins also performed beautifully. The final performance was a duet with Max Von Essen and Julia Murney, a special arrangement of "O Holy Night", ahhh and it was great. So pretty!

Thanks for the review alli2...and for posting the pictures! I wish I could have been there. I love that duet that Max and Julia sing. It really is a beautiful arrangement. If you're interested, you can still see/hear their performance of it from two years ago at the first Miracle concert in the BWW archives. It was featured on That's Kentertainment. https://www.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=1832
