Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage just opened off broadway, starring Eve Plumb (Jan Brady from the Brady Bunch) and Manuel Herrera.
I saw a reading of this show last spring and it was hysterical. I'm going again this week, so excited to see what other funny things they have come up with.
It's a short show, around 90 minutes, and uses a lot of audience participation, so it's really fun and accessible.
Go check it out!
Great Entertainment Weekly review, gets an A-!

Miss Abigail's Guide
It was DREADFUL. One of the most amateurish shows I have ever seen. Poor Eve Plumb ... she doesn't have an ounce of stage presence. She's not funny, not engaging, not interesting. The audience participation parts are just stupid and embarrassing for those who participate.

Good grief, it wasn't that bad. Yes, it's paper thin and pretty much stolen by Manuel Herrara but it's cute and harmless and for the $30-35 you end up paying with discounts, not a bad way to spend 90 minutes.
My journey there started with not being able to get N2N tickets (discount code wouldn't work, no luck with lottery, lottery loser or standing room), going to TKTS and not seeing anything up there I wanted and then getting a flyer thrust at me for the show. For $35 I thought what the hell...
