What is the name of the deleted song from Miss Saigon? I had it on my iPod and can't find it. Can anyone help?

Are you talking about "The Sacred Bird"
It is the Finale from the OLCR

Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

Do you mean "Too Much for One Heart"? That was cut during OLC rehearsals.

There are no "deleted" songs from Broadway musicals.

To "delete" is to wipe out something that is PRINTED, such as film, television, or online.

"Removed" or "unused" are the words you're looking for.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

It was deleted because the moderators didn't like it.

Television is printed? What a waste of ink.

Lea Salonga's "The Broadway Concert" DVD is available on Amazon, and includes a wonderful performance of "Too Much For One Heart."

I have listend to "Too Much For One Heart" and I do like it, though I think I understand why it was taken out of the show(why they might have thought it didn't move the story along). The song is one of the reasons Lea's Broadway Concert DVD is on my Christmas wish list.

The Miss Saigon Demos that include too much for one heart are awesome.

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
