Miss Spectacular The Musical (HELP)

Ok, so if anyone knows ANYTHING about this show besides the fact that it was done in Las Vegas, please let me know any info you have on this show. I'm singing "Where In The World Is My Prince" in a couple of weeks and I need to know about the show for my roles research.

The show has NEVER been performed. Jerry Herman wrote it for a casino/theater that Steve Wynn owned in Vegas, but Wynn sold the property before MISS SPECTACULAR ever went into production.

As of now, MISS SPECTACULAR'S fate is in limbo.

But I just want to add that while this isn't Herman's best work it is an enjoyable CD to own with some great performances. Christine Baranski and Faith Prince are fabulous and the many other talents make this recording a must to theatre enthusiasts!

I was just about to ask about this. It's a shame because it would have been great for Vegas. There was also talk of a reality series in which the lead would be chosen.

Bare_nakedlady is right. Herman fans, especially, will enjoy the recording.
