I dislike the use of the word amateur meaning talentless.

Being an amateur is a good thing. It means you love it.

I like how they are flying in a special music director for her, giving her extra time, etc. All of these things are costing them money. How about you just hire a talented, reliable Broadway vet. who needs a show. Or hire an unknown. Do they really think people would spend $110 just because Tara Conner is in it? Give me a break. Stop hiring any C list celeb who comes along and start hiring A list Broadway professionals who can kick the **** out of a part. They would gain a lot more respect if they started giving talented out of work actors work instead of celebs that don't need the money, and haven't been working to do this all their lives. I know all of this is nothing that has not been said before, I just needed to rant.

I'm glad they're not going through with her. She would have totally ruined Chicago for me. Ugh, I can't believe they wasted all that money and time on Tara Conner. Who the hell, besides a masochist, is going to want to see her in Chicago?

God, I can see it now. Her lawyer/publicist comes out and gives a statement: "Miss Connor would like you to know she blames a combination of jazz and liquor for her crappy performance...."
