Hey Guys, have you all heard of a new Off-Broadway show called THE REAL ACTORS OF NYC? I hear its really funny and smart! Check it out.
Haha...yeah, I'm the writer. But you all should know that these boards are part of the inspiration for writing the show in the first place. You know, once in a while there's some serious shade being thrown on these chat boards.
The show is about actors dealing with all of the difficulties/shade they encounter in this business, and in this case they decide they've had enough and well, you'd have to go or read someone's review of the show to see what happens. Klea Blackhurst is gloriously starring as Mumz, a Broadway baby of a bygone era who actually performs an amputation in Act 2.
I'm writing here to ask for your help. As part of our PR campaign, we want to start doing a daily "moment of shade." So, if you have examples, and I know you do, of serious shade being thrown in the musical theatre world, please share it here and we may feature it on our Facebook page: @realactorsofnyc #raonyc
Don't hate me for promoting my little show. I'm a Richard Rodgers Award Winner with a fierce desire to be HEARD!
Preview start this Saturday, and I have a sweet discount code if you share something fun and shady or just message me.
XOXO
