Monday shows?

Hello,

I'll be in NYC for the marathon in a couple weeks, already got tickets for Gents Guide and Kinky Boost.

I see there are some shows that aren't dark on Mondays (looking at the playbill site), but none of those are very appealing to me.

All the batched schedule info I am finding are for musicals. Are plays and off broadway usually dark on Mondays as well? If not, can anyone make a recommendation?

Sleep No More! Similar to Here Lies Love, it's an immersive theatre experience, but in a much larger scale than HLL. It's based off Macbeth, and you basically run around for 3 hours (not a must). I found it thrilling and the most uniqe theatre experience I've had.

I saw Here Lies Love and it was okay and had some fun music, but it was more tedious than it was worth. It did, however, smell AMAZING in the theatre where they performed (if anybody knows what creates that amazing smell, I want to know!). I was too young to see Sleep No More last spring, but I am probably going to go see it when I go to NYC this spring and I hope it is quite amazing.

Plays and musicals in previews often have Monday night performances for a couple weeks before their official opening night, so you may have luck individually searching the schedule of brand new shows in previews at the time of your visit.

I noticed both Side Show and A Delicate Balance are in previews at the time of the marathon, and both have Monday night shows during previews. Either would be a great option for you, it seems.

I believe Avenue Q is open on Mondays... There rush tickets are like 30 bucks and you can get great seats with them!! enjoy!

Ahhrealmonsters, darn it, I was hoping for an air freshener that smells like it. Even though I saw the show almost 6 month ago, I can still remember how wonderful it smelled.
