If you want to see a few more wonderful photos from the recent 'Queer Songbook' concert, I've just posted some at my Web site, which include Michael Arden, Cheyenne Jackson and Max von Essen. A couple were taken by Ben Strothmann, and there's one by BWW's own Linda Lenzi. It was a fantastic fund-raiser.

I'll be back there to do another benefit for the Gay Center: Thursday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. I'll sing showtunes and pop, featuring Rodgers & Hammerstein, Patsy Cline and my own songs. Tickets are $20; proceeds will help fund the Center's various programs. (212) 620-7310, ext. 274. I hope some of you can make it. :)

If you haven't heard Tom Andersen's beautiful singing or his brilliant songs, I really recommend this 'Songbook' benefit on Oct. 21. But you don't have to take my word for it. After Stephen Sondheim heard Tom sing 'Anyone Can Whistle' at Weill Recital Hall, he told Tom: 'You're terrific and you made me cry.' Stephen Schwartz raves, 'Tom's got an amazingly pure voice, and he's an excellent songwriter. One of the very best.' John Bucchino adds, 'Tom's not only an extraordinary singer, he's a really wonderful songwriter. I've always loved his voice.' And Nan Knighton says, 'Tom's also got a great sense of humor & he's gorgeous. Go hear him sing now.'
