Miss Saigon can be underrated sometimes, there's so much more to that wonderful musical than simply being "that helicopter musical."
I seriously loved the scarlet pimpernel, I think it was reight before all the re-workings and I laughed my ass off the whole time. and the music may not be great by musical standards but most of it was good.
A Class Act
There are some excellent choices cited above, but, having seen it at Goodspeed in Chester on Sunday afternoon, I would like to add another vote for "Amour." Legrand's score is certainly a hidden treasure, and the Goodspeed production, ideally cast, is immensely enjoyable.

I agree with:
Caroline or Change
Wonderful Town (Murphy)
"Bernie's" Gypsy (I'm always amazed when someone says they didn't like that...I really thought that that production captured the true essence of the show).
I will add: Song and Dance (from the 80's).
AND....one of the best Off-B'way shows ever, from about 10 years ago. Me and Jezebel. It was a true story about a woman who let Bette Davis into her home to stay for a couple of days and then the family couldn't get rid of her and " Miss Davis" ended up staying for weeks..it was hilarious! and no one saw it..
