Most overrated musical?

I'd say anything from andrew lloyd webber, my friends think Wicked and Rent are overrated,
thoughts?

Your friends are insane!!!!!! Wicked is the best musical I have ever seen, and Rent is fabulous! I'm curious, what do your friends think IS good? Wow!

One of my pet peeves: Why do you care if someone else likes something "Too much?" I just don't understand why that would affect you. Do you like Spring Awakening? Great! Why be upset because it won "too many Tonys!" Don't care for Wicked? Why be upset that others do? Think for yourself-- don't worry about something being Over-rated.

I've seen 5 of the ones you mentioned, and they were good, the best of the ones you mentioned was Chicago in my opinion, but none were as good as Wicked.

Wicked is ok. Not great, but it slides through when it comes to quality (getting a lot of audience points). But a lot of people hate it for because its writing is flawed.

Darling, the book of a musical is the part that's not the songs. That is what I was refering to in my response.

"Wicked" the novel by Gregory Maguire, I have read.
