Hate to ask this, but based on what I've read, it sounds like there are gunshots in this show. Can anyone tell me when to expect it?

Just came from the show tonight. There were NO gunshots. A gun is pulled out but it has no bullets and is not fired.

I would hope that a gun on stage would have no bullets. That would break many union rules. And be dangerous.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Duh. I meant within the context of the play the gun is unloaded. So obviously there are no shots. Is that more clear?

Yes, eduardo2, I assumed you understood my message, but clearly some people have less intelligence than others. It seems it was not as easy to understand for others. Or maybe that one comment was supposed to be a joke?
