I believe it's the best song he ever wrote. And Bernadette's performance if it is the most perfect marriage of a song and a performer.

Please don't attack me, but what show is it from? I'd like to hear it.
Sunday in the Park with George.
But great versions of this song are on Sondheim,Etc (Peters solo) and Mostly Sondheim (Cook and Gets.

Sounds hokey, but this song actually helped me through a time where I had to make a difficult decision. Sondheim perfectly articulated so muc hof what I was feeling. It's really an incredible piece of music.
I.LOVE.THIS.SONG. I heard it on the Bway:The American Musical cds, and decided then and there that I had to see Sunday. *sigh* Great song.
OMG I have been singing this song all morning. I love this song, I have the show on dvd and can't wait for the 27th so we can all get the remastered cd. The only tihng that bothers me here is if you watch the show, Mandy's shoulders are like in his ears everytime he holds out "Onnnnnn." anyone else notice this, it really irritates me.
BTW Who thinks that into the woods and sweeney sound fine the way they are now?
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Sunday in the Park with George (I have it on DVD), but I think the story itself is beautiful and the music is so inspiring. I listen to "Sunday" all the time and "Move On" is my favorite of the show, especially when done by Bernadette. I dont know, there is just something missing with this show and I can't put my finger on what it is. I just loose interest when I watch it, but thats just me.
When does the Sweeny Todd remastered CD come out? I've got to get my hands on that!
The remasters keep getting delayed and delayed...THey said this Fall, I believe September, but I believe they were pushed back again.
