Adaptations of movies have been successful on Broadway, from "42nd St." to "Hairspray" to "The Lion King" to "Thoroughly Modern Millie" to "Mary Poppins." What movie musicals that haven't been adapted for the stage do you think might make good Broadway shows?

I'll throw a sleeper to get started. A lovely oldish (same era as Millie and Mary) movie called "The Happiest Millionaire." Fun score (by the Sherman brothers, I think) and "Grey Gardens" has shown that people will come to a show about the rich-rich.

What movie musicals would you like to see brought to Broadway?

It's just a message board. Let's not take it too seriously.
