I would like to see Moulin Rouge as a stage production.
Adventures In Babysitting The Musical =D
Hey whiteboyspice isn't too old to reprise straight-og Daryl Coopersmith *wink* Ya think?
The Exorcist. Imagine the possibilities!
I said it last week and I'll say it again: "The Nightmare Before Christmas"!
omg! Dakota Fanning can play Regan hahah
Bonfire of the Vanities. Great, great epic scale book about yuppies getting what's owed them in 1980s New York.

Moulin Rouge and Nightmare... are givens lol.
How about Ferris Bueller? Of course, the act one finale could be the parade scene
Dirty Dancing and Somewhere in Time
Moulin Rouge for a movie
Flowers in the Attic for a book. I dunno how it would work, but I love that book.
Flowers In The Attic is a must only if Fran Weissler throws in the producing towel for acting and plays the grandmother.
Moulin Rouge, TOTALLY. (And I bet that set-wise, it's feasible, but the royalties for the song rights would be astronomical!)
As for books...hmm...
The excorcist would be HILARIOUS
and Nightmare before Christmas would make a good musical, definately :)
Amneris, did you ever know that you're my hero?
and you're the wind beneath my wings haha.. hey, anything can happen right? Barry can even make a cameo..he can be John the butler who takes the curly haired twin out to the car.
I just saw Down with Love, which BEGS to be a 60s camp musical. Adorable.
"How about Ferris Bueller? Of course, the act one finale could be the parade scene..."
Yes! And Matt still looks young enough to play Ferris. Well, if not him, who could play the characters?
Ferris: Dunno.
Sloane: Kerry Butler
Cameron: Dunno.
Principal Rooney: Michael McKean

I'm sure it's already been said...but Eternal Sunshine.
Alan Ruck could reprise his role.
Hes doing the Producer tour now isnt he? So he can sing.
A Ferris Bueller musical would be hilarious too. My Big Fat Greek Wedding might translate into a good musical.
connie and carla..
Bea Arthur can play Nia's role.
Yeah, Ruck could, but he looks a little older playing the part. Broderick may be able to do it, he has aged fine. BTW, saw Ruck in the tour and he was great...going to be in the Producers Broadway version in January.
I definitly agree with two of the ones mention, "Moulin Rouge" and "Nightmare Before Christmas", but I still want to add one to that. I know this may sound wierd but think about it, I could seriously see a musical version of "Pirates of the Carribean". In terms of a book, Murder In the Cathedral is pretty awesome! Anyhoo, just my two cents!
Later!
