Movies to Stage Production Article

Hey All,

I was assigned to write an article of the, much discussed, trend of adapting films to the stage. I would love, and need, to have some input for the article from people who know what they are talking about. If you could please please please take a few minutes of your time and give me a quote, some feelings/expressions, facts, why you think it's especially common now, etc. Anything, that I could throw in and form would be great. It's a 1,500 word piece so don't hold back. Also, if you would like to comment, which I really hope you would, please send it to me through a PM or as an email; this way it will be private and I can get a name from you, a title (occupation, student, etc.), and about how many shows you see a year, so I can quote you.
