I went to Movin' Out last evening and had a very good time, I really love the show, the dancing, the music, everything about it. However, it seems that certain audience members tend to forget that they are NOT at a concert. There were numerous people yelling out during songs (not just at points where the majority of the audience was applauding a particularly impressive move either), there was even a gentlemen who yelled out a good two sentence compliment(?) in the middle of one of the slower scenes. I was a bit taken aback by it all, because it was the kind of cheers that showed they were approving the song choice, as in not realizing it's all part of a plot and the same every evening. And I understand that Movin' Out is a little different given the music in the show, but it is still a musical, a BALLET, and I was just surprised by some of the behavior I encountered. Has anyone else had similar experiences at this show?
When I saw the show, everyone was very respectful.
