Movin' Out tour info?

Movin' Out is opening in Sacramento tonight! I was hoping someone can enlighten me... does anyone know who is performing in the cast at Sacramento?

Anyone seeing it tonight? Reviews welcome! I hope it's as good as I remember it being on Broadway.

Im not sure whos in the tour now, but I know Elizabeth Parkinson might be playing Brenda when it comes to Washington DC.

I did a dance workshop with her this summer and she said that she was trying to move on from Movin' Out, but she said "its my dream to do the tour in DC in the winter."

I hope that you post a review of the tour. I saw it January 2005, loved it and hope to see it again (though I'll probably see a different cast). When I saw the tour, Darren Holden was a sensational piano man, and I absolutely loved Holly Cruikshank and David Gomez as Brenda and Tony. What chemistry!

I will be there tonight as I am working at the show...I will post a cast list tomorrow if I can manage the strength....I am not a fan of the show...:)

I saw the show in Dayton last may and it was still in good shape. I had seen it in cincinnati when the tour first opened> I must admit I had no desire to see the show but I was blown away by it. Darren Holden is a wonderful performer. Go see it if you can

Anastasia, thanks for the cast list! Is there any way of knowing beforehand which cast I would be seeing? Is there a set schedule for when one cast performs, and the other doesn't, or do they just alternate? Hope my questions aren't too confusing.

thanks for the cast list as well! love it - cody green is my classmate's brother, he danced in our talent show even tho he didn't attend our school. ^^

i second the request as well - which cast can we count on seeing on a particular night?

cast #1 is Wed, Thurs, Sat PM and Sun matinee

cast #2 is Friday, Sun PM and Thurs & Sat mat

There is a Tuesday performance next week...not sure what cast that is going to be....

very cool sarah hinman is in it as well - altho not surprised, she danced with the sacramento ballet so she's "local", i danced with her briefly when i was really young.

I hope, when the tour comes to Providence in November, they switch the casts and piano men. Dylis Croman was phenominal as Brenda, and Darren Holden was amazing. I also saw Parkinson and Friedman, and was mildly disappointed with both.

how were you dissapointed with seeing Elizabeth Parkinson, the dancer who created the role of Brenda and won a Tony nomination and an Astaire Award for it?
