I don't think that's true. I hate when people say "Oh she won the award already so they'll give it to the new girl". Tell that to Katharine Hepburn or Candice Bergan.

I loved Laura in MP. I thought she did a wonderful job, and as much as I love Friedman, The Woman in White was a horror of a show!!

If Patti Lupone wins for Todd it will be as big of a joke as Idina's win. I haven't even seen Lachanze yet and I am willing to bet she is leagues better than Lupone is here.
