Does anyone know anything about the musical called "Music Is"? It ran a little under a month in December of 1976. It was musical based on Twelfth NIght.

MUSIC IS had a book by George Abbott, music by Richard Adler ("The Pajama Game") and lyrics by Will Holt ("The Me Nobody Knows"). The cast included Catherine Cox, Joel Higgins, Christopher Hewett, David Holliday and Sherry Mathis. It officially ran 8 performances on Broadway at the St. James Theatre.

I saw it when it was at the Kennedy Center.

It was pretty forgetable.

The script was week with really bad jokes, and the music was very unremarkable.

It might be a good choice for a community theatre needing smaller musical to fill out their season.
