Listening to " The Light In The Piazza " that music is so beautiful it actually
brings me to tears. How about music that makes you cry with it's beauty ?

For some reason that one ultra-sad torch song in what is an upbeat comedy-musical does it for me. *shrug*

"If Only" from THE LITTLE MERMAID, especially the orchestrations when Tituss sings.
I know, I know.
"I Dreamed A Dream" - LES MISERABLES
"Bring Him Home" - LES MISERABLES
"Johanna (Act II)" - SWEENEY TODD
"Who Will Love Mas As I Am" - SIDE SHOW
...just to name a few.

I agree 100% about piazza. That music is just so rapturous it brings me to tears as well.
Specifically "Say It Somehow".
"Fable" - The Light in the Piazza
"At the Ballet" - A Chorus Line
"Move On", "We Do Not Belong Together" - Sunday in the Park with George
"Alabanza", "Everything I Know" - In the Heights
the list goes on...
The very end of Les Mis
As soon as Valjean sings "On this page, I write my last confession..." the tears start
I even sometimes tear up listening to the recordings at that point -- especially the Paris cast with Robert Marien
As of today, any sort of beautiful love song can put me on the verge.
Slipping Through My Fingers- Mamma Mia
Some of Les Miserables' music made me tear up a little. I saw Lea Salonga sing "I Dream a Dream" - she did such a beautiful job that i cried a little. I think I also cried a bit during "Little Fall of Rain." I'm not usually one to cry during sad moments in shows, but the cast did such a wonderful job getting into their parts!
Role of a Lifetime from Bare!!!
I Dreamed a Dream From Les Mis and Slipping Through My Fingers from Mamma Mia
One Day More, A Little Fall of Rain, Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, and the Finale from Les Mis
and I'll agree with oohshizz- Role of a Lifetime gets me everytime
i'll cover you reprise from RENT
-"You'll Never Walk Alone" from CAROUSEL, particularly the finale version
-"Climb Every Mountain" from THE SOUND OF MUSIC, finale version

-"Love to Me", THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA
-"Fable", THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA
-"Unusual Way", NINE
-"Nine/Long Ago Finale", NINE
Then there are a whole slew of songs don't get me emotional while listening to them, but that really pack a punch when performed. "Lot's Wife" from CAROLINE OR CHANGE is one of those.
Oh, and I forgot to list BARE on there. As amateur as some of BARE is, it struck an undeniable chord with me. I actually cannot listen to the recording anymore because it puts me back in such a bad place.
"Role of a Lifetime"
"No Voice"
"A Quiet Night at Home"
"Ever After"
"Touch my Soul"
"Once Upon a Time"
and more.
""Lot's Wife" from CAROLINE OR CHANGE is one of those."
Interesting. For a long time that was the only song I could cite that I'd literally cried from listening to it.
"In My Life" from In My Life
or
"Sail Me Away" from Lestat
I know both were terrible musicals, but those songs are amazing.
"Days of Plenty" - Little Women
"For Good" - Wicked
"Memory" - Cats
"Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" - The Phantom of the Opera
"No Matter What" - Beauty and the Beast
"The Fire Within Me" - Little Women
"Written in the Stars" - Aida
"Some Things Are Meant To Be" - Little Women
