It must seem infinitely random but I'm looking for a song title or lyric relating to lines, specifically people standing in line, for the title of a reaearch paper about people choosing from a selection of lines. I did a search of my iTunes and came up with only three ("They Just Keep Moving The Line," "Line Upon Line" and "There's A Fine Fine Line"), none of which are really appropriate. I cannot think of any specific lyrics either.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Cross the Line from Big
Hermione Gingold used to do a specialty song in her club act called "Cocaine", although I don't think the word "line" was in the song.
"The Line" from Grind has every reference, metaphorical and literal, to lines.

"Another Hundred People", maybe? Not exactly about lines, but similar idea.
"Time" from the British version of Avenue Q is about standing in line for the bathroom, while some guy takes his time in there.
The opening song of William Finn's "Romance in Hard Times" is called Standing in Line.
It's sung by the denizens of a soup kitchen during the depression.

From Flora, the Red Menace:
"Waiting all day, waiting in line, just for a bowl of soup..." (Prologue to Unafraid)
"In the USA, you can work your way to the head of the line" - Ballad of Czolgosz. Assassins
"Back of the Line" from Take Flight, though it is a little long.
(No pun intended...)
