#1 Musical Styles / analysis of Seussical score Posted: 7/30/16 at 11:15am Ahrens and Flaherty are open the score is quite eclectic. What songs are examples of R&B, funk, rap, pop, swing, etc.? Any other opinions or analysis of the score?
#3 Musical Styles / analysis of Seussical score Posted: 8/3/16 at 7:20pm I like the score. "Egg, Nest and Tree" is a particular favorite. I've yet to see a production where the number works, but it's a jam. ...is a puzzlement. Updated On: 8/3/16 at 07:20 PM
#4 Musical Styles / analysis of Seussical score Posted: 8/3/16 at 9:53pm There's a bit in It's Possible that's clearly inspired by the Beach Boys (the 'ooh' bit). The Sour Kangaroo is also channeling Aretha Franklin.
