I just got a new phone. Verizon, LG VX 6000. Does anyone know where I can get musical theater ring tones or wall paper? Thanks!

I tried to get my cell phone provider to add some Broadway show tunes with no such luck, yet. I URGE everyone to call their company with this request.

LOL...StarUsher, I would think the LAST person wanting to associate cell phones and theater would be an USHER!!!

(chuckling...it takes little to amuse me....)

The closest I could get to a show tune on my phone is "Nessun dorma." Once, on the train, someone said "Is that PHANTOM OF THE OPERA?" I didn't have the time to say "no, but Andrew rips off Puccini at every turn..."

Try it, you Verizon folk. Almost no one uses it, and at least it's distinctive and melodic. (I'll take it over that damned "Fur Elise," which is real tired, buzzing 'round Penn Station as often as it does.)

LOL! Thanks for pointing out the ironic humor in that one. Just for the record I am not anti cell phone, I admitted I have, use and love mine. I am however, anti cell phone not being turned off and ringing in the middle of a performance!!
and thanks for the responses guys. I did some more searching and apparently half the score of Wizard of Oz and a song from Grease counts as the entire Broadway selection right now. I just may talk to Verizon!

Once I found a couple of ABBA songs. They didn't qualify as showtunes at the time, but now they do. Currently, I have Carolanne's Theme from Poltergeist on my phone.
