Some of my suggestions:
In the Heights
Wicked (I don't like the show myself but I'm sure it will be a film someday)
Ragtime, I'm aware that a film exists
Sunset Boulevard, maybe
Into the Woods
Les Miserables, oh wait
La Cage Aux Folles
Follies

Musicals that need to be done right on film:
South Pacific could make for an amazing film
Gypsy, hopefully Barbra Streisand can do a good job
Carousel

Some Broadway musicals done right on film:
West Side Story
Chicago
Oliver!
My Fair Lady
The Music Man
The Sound of Music
Cabaret
The King and I
Funny Girl

P.s. I'm sure that Billy Elliot the musical would have been made into a movie by now had the film itself not been so recent
