There are those guilty pleasure shows you love to listen to or watch, and you know you'd just die to see on the Great White Way again. However, you admit it has flaws that MUST be fixed before it performs again.
What shows are they, and what needs to be changed?
My two are the usual, obvious ones- Chess and Carrie. And the revision is the same for both of them- finally, and definitively, fix the book and lineup of songs. R&H are working on this with Chess, but it never quite seems to happen.

The Little Mermaid... LOVE the score, had a fun time the first time around. Now if they got a new director, a new book writer, and a few new members on the creative team, it would be golden.
Mack & Mabel...a wonderful score, but the book needs major revisions
The Unsinkable Molly Brown...could also be wonderful with revisions, especially if Reba is still interested as was once rumored
I'll second MACK AND MABEL.
I also would love to see a re-working of the book of SUBWAYS ARE FOR SLEEPING, as it has a great score by Jule Styne, but I don't know if its book and premise are even salvageable.
I agree with the Little Mermaid, new director, fix the mermaid costumes and some revisons to the book. My first revison would be to cut both of Scuttle's songs.
Side Show.

I'd like to see DEAR WORLD with the book revised to be closer to the original play, rather than the very 1960's version that opened on Broadway.
