Doesn't that sound nice, like I just had coffee with her or something?
No really, Donna is on the schedule to defintely star in an NBC sitcom called "My 11:30", which co-stars Jeff Goldblum and in which she plays a psychiatrist. It premieres in September, so I was wondering, does that mean she's leaving Wonderful Town in the summertime, or will the show be closed by then? Does anybody know?
As far as I know a pilot has been shot. But it is not known if it has been picked up. If it is ; TV season starts production late July early August. And I somehow don't think Wonderful Town will be around that long anyway.

She played a therapist on the Joan Cusack show too. I loved that show in the first season, but of course then they had to retool it and move it and cancel it.

It's been hovering around 50% capacity and losing money for the last few weeks and it has no advance left, so it doesn't look good. It'll hang around until Tony night, but unless it upsets ASSASSINS (iffy) and Donna snatches her third (possible, but also iffy), it'll be gone shortly afterwards. And news of Donna leaving to do a sitcom long before summer's out is going to lose her a few votes from the Tony folks.
Thanks everyone for your info =) I'm surprised she already had time to film a pilot and star in WT at the same time.
That was the main reason why I didn't want Assassins to be deemed a revival, because that would mean curtains for Wonderful Town. If Assassins wins, which I'm sure it will, Wonderful Town won't have the steam to make it through, so it's sure to close, which makes me sad because I adore that show, but alas, it's a fact of life with theatre, right?
If Donna and Jennifer take home the Tony's it may help the show somewhat.

She filmed the pilot on her days off and took two days off, in April, from Wonderful Town to finish it. So the pilot is definitely finished. And as for WT's attendance...I think both Donna and Jennifer getting nominated may have helped ticket sales. The theatre was the most packed I have ever seen for the middle of the week. I was surrounded by Tony voters too!!

Well, remember that every Tony voter (all 700+ of them) gets a pair of comps for every nominated show, so while it's nice that they're filling all those normally empty seats, they don't help box office sales.

Donna performing Conga on the Tonys could really boost the box office.
