Are you listing these in order of preference, with 5 (listed on top) being least-best favored?

Also, I wouldn't include HAIRSPRAY in 2003--it opened in the 2002 Tony season...

...GYPSY and NINE also opened in the 2002 Tony season (even though they opened in 2003, the stars were already nominated, so they're last season...)

Isn't that how it's considered? Anyone....?

Since it's the end of the year, I think people are just listing the five favorite performances/shows that they saw in 2003, and not necessarily the 2003-2004 season. True, Hairspray opened in 2002, but not everyone saw it then, and Gypsy didn't open until 2003.

This season isn't over yet, so technically they can't list their season's favorites until all the new shows have opened.

I don't even think I saw 5 shows this year....lol
