Today was a very LUCKY 13th time !!! Show was amazing as usual ! All regulars in, and Tonka Pinkins sounded amazing !!! Time off certainly did her well. After the show, I decided to hang out for just a few minutes (REALLY had to get home and move my car- hate alternate side !!)... by the stage door. In what had to be less than 5 minutes, Ms. Pinkins came out ! She was so nice. Had my "Caroline" tee on, and told her it was my 13th time at the show. She then shook my hand, and said it was a pleasure to meet me, and she asked me my name. She personalized a note to me on my Playbill, Had my camera, and someone was very gracious in taking a picture of the two of us, that I can not wait to see !
Few seconds later, met Anika Noni Rose. SUCH a sweetheart !! Got her autograph, and picture as well. Love her !!!
Also, learned a lot today !! You gotta love the Matinees...
- Ms. Pinkins plays Caroline Thib-E-Ducks - She won the Tony for this - Apparantely, the show is a hit with the Bridge crowd. Many referred by Bridge players - Kennedy WAS the President that was killed
And at the same time as the theater being very cold, it was also..extremely hot !!!
Am I on glue, or does that last part just make no sense at all?
