My BroadwayWorld anniversary!

Hey BroadwayWorld! 

Fun fact: according to my little avatar box, today is my 10th anniversary of being on this message board. How the time flies! 

At the risk of getting all sentimental - this board has been quite the source of joy, education, and anxiety for me over the years. But mostly the first two (well, it varies). Thanks for the continued fun times! 

Just for fun - here was my first ever post. In true BroadwayWorld n00b fashion, it was me earnestly commenting on a Tony thread, not realizing that it was a joke thread.

Anyone else have any fun or embarrassing early posts? 

Anyone else have a BroadwayWorld anniversary coming up or recently passed? 

Any other reflections on time spent on this board, or when/why you joined? I can’t remember why I actually joined the board, but it probably had to do with my increased trips to NYC to see theatre.

Anyway, sorry for the little self-centered diversion. Just wanted to make the occasion!

Happy 10 years!!

I joined this board a few months before my 13th birthday. I just turned 27 Sunday. Literally have been on this board more than half my life.

I joined as a big fan of Wicked and RENT, and it helped me to immensely broaden my horizons and now I see most new musicals each season and am one of the most “in the loop” theatre people I know by perusing these boards once or twice a day. 
 

While it’s not perfect, I do love these boards! So glad we have it.
