I went with a friend who rushed and she got a ticket on Friday 8/24 at 630-645pm, sat in orchestra with a good view on orchestra left a few rows back. Might have been a fluke too though, the seats next to her were empty (almost the entire row). Seemed pretty easy that particular night though
Thinking of trying this soon! Does it begin 2 hours before curtain?

Just wanted to bump this thread, is there a consistent rush policy (like offering rush tickets every day) or should I check with the box office? Anyone go recently that could also let me know what time they went/seats they got?
Thanks!

Has anyone tried to get tickets in the New Year?
Bumping this. Has anyone tried recently? Would the odds of scoring some tickets be easier now that it hasn't been selling too well?
I did student rush a couple months ago. Row J, spectacular seats. They DO check IDs, and it's only one ticket per person. My student ID clearly says "Graduate" and it wasn't an issue.

I really need yalls help, I desperately want to see this show before it closes. I have one free day... one... and that is closing day July 7, 2019. I want to student rush it. What time should I get online and does it matter that my friend is in high school? Would her id work? I really want to see it before it goes so what do you guys think? Do i need to be there all night?

On Sunday 6/23, I dropped by Lincoln Center around 12:30pm and they still had student rush tickets with no one else in line. It is one ticket per student ID and I was with non-students so we went to rush King Kong instead (a show that also still had rush tickets at 1pm with fantastic orchestra seats).

I'm not sure what this particular Rush, but I have seen some theaters turn down high School IDs and some accept them.

You can always try calling and asking, or if you live close enough even just going to ask in person. If only you want to see it and your friend is okay with not going, you can also try to see if there are LincTix left (though you have to be 21 or older).

Is this one of those student rushes where if they have a bunch of non-premium seats unsold they will sell one as a student rush ticket?
