I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the dancing is like in the national tour of My Fair Lady? Especially for Eliza? I know she does the waltz, but is there anything else? Thanks

Born..I would say anything other than the Embassy Ball Waltz would be considered "movement". Having seen this tour just about a month ago in Cincinatti, I can safely say she does not do a lot of dancing for this production.

However! The dancing for the ensemble is very high spirited, especially in the numbers "With a Little Bit of Luck", and "Get Me to the Church On Time". Again, anything else, "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" and "The Ascot" would be considered "movement"

I adore the black band holding on the Phantom's mask. ~ Jenna2

But it must be said that Lisa O'Hare's marvelous physicality in the role of Eliza makes her dance training quite evident.

Thanks. Is the dancing for the ensemble difficult? Or just very high-energy? Thanks!
