Here's a funny story-kinda.lol
I had just got out from an orientation and I had to meet my brother at the train station on 50th and 7th. But I had while, so I ran over to Virgin Records to look around. I saw the poster about the siging, and I freaked because I was dying to meet them.I HAD to go meet my brother, though, and I was a upset. So, I'm really bummed out on the way to the train station, and who passes me by but Laura Benanti? She looked like she was in a rush (the signing started in 10 minutes), and I was thinking about how everyone on the board said she was really mean to her fans. I stopped her totally starstruck and lil' afraid-lol- but she was the warmest actress I've ever met. I was so nervous, and I DIDNT HAVE A PEN! So, she ran over to a limo driver waiting in his limo and borrowed his pen to give me an autograph. She was all smiles and was so warm to me that Im gonna go see Nine now just to support her. I couldnt believe how nice she was to me. It completely made my day!

Good to know you had a nice experience iwth her. It must be only infront of cameras and crowds that she gets a bit stand off-ish

That is so great. I adore Laura, as seen from the numerous times I've come to her defense.

Women are the nastiest things as far as their biological makeup. I mean, they have those icky fallopian tubes, and eggs flying everywhere not to mention Menstration every month. Honestly gals, Kudos to you to dealing with all that everyday of your lives.

With men, we just got our logs to worry about and we're dandy. Updated On: 6/18/03 at 07:46 PM

yeah, I met Laura after seeing her in Into The Woods. She was very nice to me and my mother and took her time talking to me and signing my playbill.

Laura is very pretty and talented! I remember in Into the Woods her "Very Smart Prince". I absolutely agreed and loved with every acting bit she put into it that Kim Crosby didn't. Now Im not putting down Kim Crobsy's Cinderella. Nerdy Cindy was a great perception, but Laura's was interesting.

I still think she's a big mean stupid face though. re: re: re: re: re: re: My Laura Benanti encounter
