Just posting the shows I am seeing during my trip to NY to see if any of you guys will be there. It would be fun to meet up with some of you.
So, on Friday, April 4th I will be seeing SITPWG, on Saturday April 5th I will be seeing the 2pm show of Xanadu, and the 8pm show of Spring Awakening.

Posted: 3/27/08 at 11:23pmthanks. Hearing you guys say how good all of these shows are is making me even more excited. I know I will like SA and SITPWG as I have both of the cast recordings, and the SITPWG and love them. But I was a little nervous about Xanadu. I have on-stage tickets, how are they? And do the on-stage audience members get glow sticks?

Posted: 3/27/08 at 11:36pmOf course!! The audience on-stage are the ones who get them, as far as I know. They did it with the whole audience for a while but I think now they're back to just on-stage audience.

Sweet! That made me even more excited. Anything that involves glow sticks is good in my books. And I will get to look at Cheyenne's rear all night. Nothing wrong with that

Posted: 3/27/08 at 11:45pmOh, and I was hoping to collect playbils from shows I will not be seeing as well, do some theatre box offices give you playbills if you ask for them?

Posted: 3/28/08 at 6:29pmAnother question for you guys who live in/around NYC. Last weekend I was watching the food network and they had a special on Burger Joints, and the NYC restaurant Pop Burger was on the list. It looked like a pretty cool place, has anyone been there? And if so is it worth visiting?

lakezurich, I have never been to Pop Burger, but my brother told me it's not bad. I usually just get burgers from the local bar, which is quite decent.
Check out this list from NY Magazine http://nymag.com/restaurants/cheapeats/2007/34994/

Posted: 3/28/08 at 6:44pmthanks. I was thinking of visiting Pop Burger because it is not that far from our hotel, and it looked pretty swanky.

Xanadu at Helen Hayes- when you go out on your left.
Sunday in the Park (Studio 54) is around the block...but after the show... they will open another door (not the same hallway you went in) go thru that....then turn left..
Spring Awakening (Eugene O'Neil )- when you go out on your left too.. there's a barricade, bunch of teenagers- you wont miss it...
The most trickies part is Studio 54... so be careful.. just remember- this depends on where youre located- Orchestra / Mezz...just go out to the door that they will open which is not the same way you went in...
