On Saturday, I saw the matinee of Steel Magnolias with my mother. We sat in the front row so it was kind of a neck hurting performance, but still enjoyable. I was a little disappointed because Christine Ebersole was out, but her understudy was very good (not positive of the name from the top of my head.) They whole cast worked well with each other. It was full of a lot of one-liners, but they were funny. Delta Burke was hysterical not just with her lines, but her faces reactions were funny in responding to Annile (not sure of the spelling), the jesus worshiping, nervous, sweet heart of the play, if you want to call her that.
I am a big fan of this movie so I enjoyed the play a lot. It's basically a shortened version of the movie just in the beauty salon. I think if you get a chance you should check it out. It's worth it.
Sorry not too much in depth, but I'm not much of a critic.
Have a good day everyone!

"maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away" -sex and the city
