He's just pulling at strings to find something bad to say about Patti.
Best to just ignore him.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Posted: 3/26/08 at 6:53amI really enjoyed the show! Patti was on fire as was Laura and Boyd. My problem was where I was sitting. I thought that being in the center balcony would have been wonderful seats, but I felt too disconnected from the production, especially "Rose's Turn" so I didn't get the same chills I got when I saw it at City Center. So, I will have to go see it again, and get a bit closer. But, I still thought it was an amazing show.

Go away. I don't get why the Patti haters must ruin every thread about this production.
it's pathological.
that being said, all these reviews are making me even antsier for Saturday. I have no doubt that I'll walk out of the St. James completely overwhelmed.
and I wish I was reading more about Caskey, too! she was a highlight [no pun intended] for me at CC.

Posted: 3/26/08 at 9:02amThis thread is why I adore the show as a whole. The fact that you can have a discussion on the different interpretations of Rose and when someone becomes Rose is perfect! I personally had the priveldge of seeing Gypsy 3 times at City Center and eagerly await tomorrow night to see it at the St. James. I have no doubt that Patti will be as fierce as ever and Benanti will be brillant as Louise!
