My trip to NYC

Alright folks...

I know that there are 40,000 other posts about this, but I need some help.

I'm going to NYC August 24th-27th. I'm seeing Avenue Q and possibly something else. My question is this: Besides seeing as many shows as I can, what other, not-necessarily-Broadway-related things can I do to keep myself amused? I'm not REALLY into the touristy things, and I've been to Ellis Island and whatnot, but I'd really appreciate some help with this.

Hmm shopping!? i love the city for that reason. Go to some nice restaurants.

Where is Footlight Records?

Yes, shopping, of course. The only place I refuse to go is Trump Tower. I went there in March and...blah...thanks for the help. Any specific shopping places? I like South Street Seaport...hmmm...

You could always do the museums, or a fun museum like Madame Tussaud's.

Just please, don't do that red bus tour. Pleeeeeease.

HAHA...bts...I actually AM going on the red bus thing...but only because it's included in the AAA deal I got. So it's free. Oh well.

as far as i understand, and ive never been to NYC, rodents live in trees and do treeish things while they visit new york
