Out of curiosity, why are you casting this show? It had a perfectly decent cast at Papermill, all of them wasted on this boring production. The cast was NOT the problem. A terrible book, terrible direction and a so-so score were the problem.

And Bebe in a role with about 4 lines, no singing or dancing?

I doubt we will see another production of this snorer soon.

I wouldn't choose Sierra as Danielle. James Snyder sounded fantastic but the casting for Henry and Danielle has to match up and I'd rather a strong Danielle than a strong Henry since she anchors more of the show. I really didn't like the numbers that focused on Rodmilla that much and if they edited things the way they should I'm not sure if it would be worth it for Christine Ebersole to stay with the project. I loved Tony Sheldon as da Vinci. The king and queen don't do enough for me to be invested in the casting and honestly I think some of their material should be rewritten as it's too comedic. I thought Mara Davi was perfect as Marguerite. Andrew Keenan-Bolger was fine as Gustave. As for Laurent and Jacqueline I think that relationship needs to be tighter. It's a throwaway in the movie and built up awkwardly in the show.
