My day at the Bee!!!!

Well, I went. It was THE best show EVER!!! I was onstage AND I was the last one standing! So the word they give you to get you out.....i spelled it correctly got HUGE laughter and applause and the cast members were cracking up! So I go back to the bleachers, sit down and they tell me to go back and spell a different word. They asked me an even harder word and I said "May I have the definition?" "No you may not!" *laughter* "Can you use it in a sentence?" ".....no." *HUGE laughter!!!* So i got it wrong, the entire cast took me back to my seat and Jesse Tyler Ferguson put the straw in my Juice box and made me take a sip.......and then he took a sip and gave it back! LOL!!! I had a great day. Sadly no pics.

Err... they 'asked you an even harder question'? Haha, I do believe they ask you words, not questions, at spelling bees.

Also, Celia Keenan-Bolger wasn't there today...and that bumed me out. But then the standby (Kate Weatherhead) was REALLLLLY good! And so threw the whole show I kept watching her thinking "I've seen her somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!" and it was bothering the sh*t outa me!!! So around the end I looked at her smile and I almost jumped out of my seat! She was in a workshop for Finding Nemo The Musical (which is going to be at Animal Kingdom,Disney World) and she played Nemo!!!!!! After the show I waited for her and I told her I saw her in it and she gave me a HUGE hug and said "You're my new best friend" lol

I'm sure you're telling the truth, but a fan such as yourself would surely remember the words you had. Many of us remember ever minute detail about a conversation with an actor at the stage door, and you forgot the words you spelled correctly on a Broadway stage a few hours ago?

She means that the word you spelled correctly is right no matter how you spell it. They do it for the comic factor. I was really impressed when the guy at my performance spelled it right until I found out.
